It is a wholesome and very varied experience compared to studying back in Malaysia. Here you are responsible for everything. If you can take care of yourself, you will do great!
It was rather easy and straightforward thanks to the reasonable TER and english language requirement. Applying and getting in is smooth.
There are scholarships available but I am not too sure about international students.
The studying environment here is highly conducive. Note that we engineering students get in about 20 hours of contact alone so you have to expect more than that with self study as well. But then again, with the helpful lecturers and tutors, it will be enjoyable!
The university is great all around but Adelaide is worlds away from Kuala Lumpur in terms of entertainment and night life. That being said, that's where your friends and campus activities make everything all the better and that's where you forge friendships as well as learning more about yourself.
Considering chemical engineering is a pretty specific course, I believe my prospects are pretty good since specificity is related to relevancy!
